Workhouse Dock’s got a new neighbour, and it’s about to become the best seat in Brentford.
The Dockhouse is a riverside café bar and restaurant built to be the beating heart of this new waterside development. Coffee at sunrise, cocktails at sunset, and everything in between – all-day food and drink with some of the best views on the water.
Expect seasonal dining, a proper all-day menu, and outdoor seating for 80 right on the canal. Whether you’re after a quiet flat white with the paper, a long lazy lunch, or last orders with a view, The Dockhouse is built to do it all.
Set on the Grand Union Canal, it’s designed as a space for everyone – solo coffee-drinkers, long lunches with mates, birthday dinners, and everything in between.

Expect seasonal, ingredient-led dishes that change with the year – light and fresh through summer, hearty and warming come autumn. Mornings bring proper coffee and brunch plates. Afternoons mean sharing boards, salads, and something quick by the water. Evenings shift up a gear with seasonal mains, small plates, and a drinks list built for canalside sundowners.

Our Beers
Drink in the taste of the Dorset countryside by sampling our Badger beers, which were first brewed by local farmer Charles Hall in 1777. Created from hops, malted barley, and pure spring water that’s naturally filtered through the chalk downs of Dorset, they’re a firm favourite. At The Dockhouse, we offer a full, distinctive and delicious range, including our Signature Badger Ales and Outland craft beers, which are imaginatively flavoured, and far from ordinary.
